CNIB has partnered with David Lepofsky of the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act Alliance) for a special meeting on the issue of e-scooters and their dangers to the low-vision/blind community. Join us as we discuss how we can all take action to ensure Toronto leaves in place the ban on electric scooters. This meeting runs via Zoom web conference on March 9 from 5 to 6 p.m. Eastern Time. A support group for blind/partially sighted parents. From infancy to adulthood - blind mothers and fathers can learn, explore, and share their triumphs, challenges, tips and stories among peers in a supportive environment. The group meets twice monthly in order to accommodate busy schedules. This group runs via Zoom web conference on the second Wednesday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern Time. and the last Saturday of the month from 2 to 3 p.m. Call in information will be given upon registration.
