Partnership: Mandarin Restaurant Franchise Corporation

In 2007 Mandarin Restaurant Franchise Corporation donated $50,000 to CNIB that kick-started our Diversity program with two highly successful initiatives.

The donation provided local seminars to various communities across Ontario educating the public in various languages about the services and programs offered at CNIB for all Canadians affected by vision loss.

Along with the seminars Mandarin's gift sponsored translation of a key brochure, outlining CNIB services available in Ontario, in 21 different languages. Languages include Arabic, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Greek, Hindi and Italian. The brochures can all be downloaded and printed from the CNIB web site.

CNIB is committed to promoting diversity through our services and fund development strategies. We look forward to strengthening our Diversity program and continue working with Mandarin in educating Canadians (who do not speak English) about CNIB and the services available to those affected by vision loss.
