How do I sign up?

What can I expect from this network?

When you join CNIB's E-Mail Advocacy Network, you'll receive:

  • Background information on current issues affecting people with vision loss - for example, the need for a wider range of library materials available in braille and audio format.

  • Requests for input from government departments and private industry. For example, 'Would you support the increase of television programs that include descriptive video?'

  • Requests that you send letters to elected officials on specific topics affecting individuals with vision loss; for example, the need for an assistive devices program in Atlantic Canada.

Do I have to respond to all requests?

No. Any response you make through the CNIB E-mail Advocacy Network is entirely voluntary.
