Application and Eligibility

Criteria

Criteria for consideration as a SCORE participant:

  1. 16 to 18 years of age during the program and in the final two years of secondary school.
  2. Enthusiasm and commitment to participate in program activities.
  3. Demonstrated interest in putting personal strengths to use on behalf of peers, family, community and society.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Career-oriented and motivated to pursue a post-secondary education and/or employment.
  6. Strong independent living and mobility skills.
  7. Able to take notes using either braille, large print or electronically.

Please note: the completed application package includes application form, applicant profile and a letter of reference from a CNIB staff member, youth/community group leader or teacher.

Please submit your application no later than April 16, 2010.
