How to Access Our Services
If you have difficulty with everyday activities due to vision loss, contact CNIB as soon as possible. We can help you:
- Gain a better understanding of your condition and provide information on the vast scope of services available to you.
- Deal with the physical and emotional challenges of vision loss and regain your independence.
- Learn more about reducing your risk of future vision loss and help you prepare for future changes in your vision.
When you come to CNIB, specially-trained staff will work with you to draw up a personalized program for success and make referrals to appropriate resources, either within CNIB or with community agencies.
We'll help you develop a plan to achieve your specific goals and maximize your quality of life.
Who can use CNIB's services?
- Any adult or child who has experienced recent moderate to severe vision loss
- No doctor's referral is required to contact CNIB.
- Services are provided at no cost to you.
