Application and Eligibility

To be considered for the National SCORE Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Canadian high school student between 16 and 21 years of age;
  • Be career-oriented and motivated to pursue a post-secondary education;
  • Have strong independent mobility and living skills;
  • Have strong communication skills;
  • Have a demonstrated interest in putting personal strengths to use for the better of peers, family, community, and society;
  • And be committed to participating in program activities.

How to Apply

Applicants must electronically complete the CNIB National SCORE Program 2017 Application Form (a Word document form).  The application form will require applicants to answer simple questions about themselves, their interests, and their goals.  Applicants must also submit their resume and a Letter of Recommendation from an endorser.  An endorser could be a CNIB staff member, teacher, youth group leader, etc.  The application form, resume, and Letter of Recommendation are to be submitted together to the National SCORE Program Coordinator via email by Sunday, April 30, 2017.
