CNIB's community-based services empower Canadians who are blind or partially sighted not just to live independently – but to see beyond vision loss.  We are proud to work in partnership with donors, volunteers and the community to offer a wide range of programs designed to help you to lead a rich, full life with sight loss, and to move us toward a more inclusive world.

Our services are:

  • delivered where you need them – in your local CNIB office, community, over the phone, online or right in your own home.
  • offered in group or one-on-one settings depending on what's right for you.
  • offered at no cost to you thanks to the generosity of our donors.​

National Summer Programs

Career Connect Canada

If you're a student exploring your future, a job seeker investigating work options, an employer planning to diversify your workforce, or a friend or family member assisting someone with sight loss, CareerConnect Canada can help! This program, offered in partnership with the American Foundation for the Blind, connects people who are blind or partially sighted with successful mentors in their field who also have sight loss.
