Public Library Sales
La Bibliothèque en français
This program offers individuals or organizations a broad selection of adult or children's titles for purchase, available in either braille or audio formats. If you are interested in receiving a catalogue by mail or e-mail, please contact the Sales Representative (contact details below).
CNIB Audiobooks
We sell a wide selection of CNIB talking books for use by library patrons or other individuals with a 'perceptual disability' (a disability that prevents someone from reading print, such as blindness or visual impairment, dyslexia, or a physical disability that would prevent someone from holding a book). Libraries can make these books available to patrons on a restricted-access basis only. The CNIB Talking Book Catalogue is published twice a year; spring/summer and fall/winter.

Braille Books for Children and Young Adults
There are two separate catalogues in the PLSP Collection: PrintBraille Books for Children (picture books) and Braille Books for Young Adults.
PrintBraille Books for Children
The CNIB Library chooses high quality picture books for children, transcribes the text into braille, embosses the braille onto clear plastic sheets, and inserts them into the print book, thus providing braille for those who can't see, and preserving the print for those who can. These books make the shared reading experience of a family, or 'story hour' at the public library, a possibility. Printbraille Books for Children are published annually.
PrintBraille books are available in English, French, and Spanish.
Braille Books for Young Adults
Titles from the Young Adult braille collection are carefully chosen, and represent award-winning and best-selling books in subjects of current interest. They are geared for the Grade 4 to Senior High School level. They are all in contracted (grade two) braille, with colour covers and spiral cerlox bindings. Catalogues are published once every two years.
