Recording Studio
La Bibliothèque en français
The CNIB Library Recording Studio produces unabridged works
on DAISY CD for people who are blind or visually impaired. The
works are chosen by committee and range from Canadian fiction
and non-fiction, magazines, textbooks, manuals and children's
stories.
Recording involves the cooperation of two volunteers: the
narrator, who reads the words, and the monitor, the "director of
production", who operates the recording equipment and ensures
the quality of the production.
Recording studio volunteer opportunities are available at our Toronto and Montreal locations.
