Introducing the CNIB Guide Dog Program!

Canadians with sight loss tell us that having a guide dog is a transformational experience. The guide dog partnership provides them not only with mobility and safety, but also confidence, independence and a sense of  connection with the world around them.

At CNIB, we believe that everyone who would like to have a guide dog should have the opportunity to do so. That's why we're proud to launch the CNIB Guide Dog Program, a new program to raise and train guide dogs exclusively for people with sight loss, with the range of choices, services and opportunities they need and want.

Now Recruiting Volunteer Puppy Raisers!

We're looking for people to join our team of Volunteer Puppy Raisers and help transform our adorable puppies into life-changing guide dogs. We are looking for volunteers in:

  • North Toronto, Markham, Aurora and Newmarket
  • Halifax
  • Winnipeg
