CNIB Barbara Tuck MacPhee Award

Overview

The CNIB Barbara Tuck MacPhee Award supports researchers in the field of macular degeneration.

Amount of award

The Tuck MacPhee Award provides a one-year grant of up to $25,000. Projects should be completed within 12 months. Funds that are unused after 24 months must be returned unless a special request for continuance is approved. Equipment costs will not generally be covered, but in certain circumstances equipment may be funded on the basis of matching funds from the host facility.

Eligibility

This award is open to all researchers; however, applicants must be residents of Canada and research must be conducted primarily in Canada.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted no later than January 30 of each year. The application will be reviewed by a multi-disciplinary review committee, and decisions will be finalized by May 1. Click here to download the CNIB Barbara Tuck MacPhee Award application form.​
