The first few months in the life of someone who has to face vision loss are crucial. It is completely normal to feel a great apprehension when facing the unknown. May questions come to mind: what will happen next? How will I go on with my life? How will I be able to continue practicing my favourite activities?

CNIB can help you and your family cope with the consequences of vision loss:
  • Crisis Calls
  • Distance Support Groups
  • Information on available services and identification of individual needs
  • Referral to CNIB programs and services, as well as those of rehabilitation centres and community organizations
