"3 years."

Why did you get into the field?

"I love working with people and wanted a position that allowed me to use my Sign Language training on a regular basis. It was the best decision I'd ever made and I LOVE my job!"

What do you enjoy most about being an intervenor/working in the field?

"While I have the consistency of building a rapport with my clients, who I see regularly every week, I also love that every day is different. You never know some of the places that Intervention will take you!"

What would you like people to know about Deafblindness?

"People who are Deafblind are just like you and I and they deserve the same opportunities and considerations."

Why is Deafblind awareness important to you?

"I think many people don’t know how to act or what to say to people who are Deafblind and I would love to break down that barrier."
