Visions Gala Toronto
The inaugural Toronto Visions Gala was a huge success! Thank you to all of the guests, donors and partners whose combined support helped us raise over $60,000 for CNIB programs and services for blind and partially sighted Canadians.
Guests of the premiere Visions Gala on May 13, 2010 experienced an unforgettable night of music, fashion, art and dining in the dark.
The evening, hosted by Master of Ceremonies Gord James, featured:
- Fashion in the Dark, a tactile experience organized by Balanche Communications & Events and featuring Canadian designers
- Performances by:
- The Alata Harmonia Chorus of Canada singing the music of blind composers
- Pianist Nat Giangioppo
- Becka deHaan, 2009 iFactor winner
- Delectable desserts, served in the dark
