Night Steps Thunder Bay August 24, 2018

8/24/2018 6:00 PM

Marina Park (Prince Arthurs Landing)

Brighten the Night: A Walk Under the Stars! Bring your family, friends and pets to CNIB Night Steps, an exciting walk under the stars. Every gift will help to fund foundation programs that address the social and emotional needs of people of all ages living with sight loss. You can be certain that your support is truly making a difference! Taking part is easy! Register as a team or an individual, and we’ll give you the tools to make fundraising simple and fun! We’re asking each participant to raise at least $100. If walking isn’t for you, pledge a walker or volunteer for the Night Steps event in your community. Last year, a small group of 30 people joined our walk at Marina Park and together we raised $2,000 for our Peer Support and Vision Mate programs. This year is CNIB's 100th Birthday and we want to make a BIG impact! We hope to have even more two and four legged friends join us under the stars and our goal is to raise $10,000. How will your donation be used? Funds raised will support CNIB's Accessible Technology Program in Thunder Bay which provides hands-on technology training, workshops, support and guidance for blind and partially sighted people in the region. In addition to the walk, the event will culminate with an evening celebration. Date: Friday, August 24, 2018. Venue: Marina Park (Prince Arthurs Landing) City: Thunder Bay, ON.
