Six Magic Dots Campaign
Six Magic Dots. Endless Possibilities
In 2009, CNIB will celebrate the 200th birthday of Louis Braille. In a world of vision loss, the invention of Braille is compared to the invention of the printing press.
Every 50 minutes someone is diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts or glaucoma. More than likely you know someone or have experienced it for yourself. As the age of our population increases so will the incidence of vision loss.
Today you can make a difference in the life of a child or an adult who relies or will rely on Braille. Your contribution to the “Six Magic Dots. Endless Possibilities” campaign will ensure CNIB is able to continue to offer programs and services such as the CNIB Library, Orientation & Mobility training and Low Vision assessments.
