Participants (ages 6-18) across BC are invited to join CNIB at BC Easter Seals summer camp in Squamish, with the costs covered by CNIB! The camp will take place July 15-19, 2024.

At Camp Squamish’s accessible site, we will have so many fun classic summer camp activities to try together: swimming, rock climbing, adaptive sports, camping, talent show and so much more! Throughout the week, we’ll have opportunities to gather as a community of peers and connect with other campers with diverse abilities to grow our community even more!

To register:

  1. Complete the short intake form ASAP to reserve your spot! Registration will close once filled by Monday, May 6, 2024. You must complete the intake form before applying to Easter Seals in order for your camper fee to be covered by CNIB.
  2. Once reviewed and approved by CNIB, you will receive information to complete Easter Seal’s full registration form on Camp Brain.

Easter Seals Camps are designed to support participants with all abilities. While CNIB registration is open to all CNIB participants, the program will be catered towards those with dual diagnosis of Blindness/low-vision, and additional cognitive and or physical disabilities. CNIB will be one of several groups on site at this camp week, so we will get to connect with our community, as well as all the other campers at different times.

All costs, including transportation, accommodation, camp fees, and dining, will be covered by CNIB to remove financial barriers and provide opportunities for all participants. Once we have received all registered camper information, we will coordinate directly with families to determine the best available options for transportation.

We are so excited to take participants to summer camps again this year! We look forward to receiving your intake forms, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or if you require support in completing the intake form.
