CNIB Alberta launches its first Night Steps event in Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT – CNIB Alberta is inviting Medicine Hat residents to brighten the night at its first annual Night Steps event presented by Accessible Media Inc. (AMI), D3 Hotels, and Clearview Eyecare.

Night Steps is a family-friendly, glow-in-the-dark, 5 km fundraising walk under the stars in support of CNIB’s life-changing programs and services that help to give people who are blind or partially sighted the confidence, skills and opportunities to live fully independent lives.

It is a fun and fully-accessible experience for all participants, including those who are blind or partially sighted, and those who require a guide dog. There is a $20 registration fee to participate in the event, which includes a Night Steps T-shirt, glow-in-the-dark materials and a BBQ. Every dollar raised stays in the community.

Registration is open to people of all ages. Participants can register as individuals or as part of a team. Upon arrival, each participant will receive a CNIB Night Steps t-shirt and their glow-in-the-dark materials.as individuals or as part of a team.
