Nominate an extraordinary volunteer from your community for a CNIB Volunteer Award

​It’s that time to think about nominating a volunteer for the Outstanding Volunteer Award or the Holly Award. The deadline for nominations is Friday, July 15. The recipients will be announced at CNIB’s Newfoundland and Labrador Annual Community meeting in the fall.

Outstanding Volunteer Award is presented each year at CNIB’s Annual Community Meeting, the CNIB Outstanding Volunteer Award recognizes exceptional service; defined as consistent, selfless giving of time and effort to improve the quality of life of individuals who are blind and partially sighted in Atlantic Canada. The award shall not be primarily for length of service or prominence of position, but rather for individual dedication and contribution.

The Holly Award is presented each year at CNIB’s Annual Community Meeting, this award recognizes a volunteer with vision loss who has made or is making a significant contribution in their community.
