CNIB is teaming up with AMI the to host a Twitter Ask Me Anything chat with Christine Ha, the host of AMI-tv’s Four Senses.
Since becoming the first person with vision loss to win a major television cooking competition, Christine Ha has been living – and cooking – in the spotlight. For the past four seasons, she’s been sharing recipes and cooking tips alongside Carl Heinrich on AMI-tv’s Four Senses. As the only cooking show with an accessibility twist, Four Senses offers a unique experience for individuals of all abilities, particularly people who are blind or have low vision. This season Christine spent some time in the Muskoka region at Lake Joe, the CNIB’s camp and recreation centre for individuals of all ages living with vision loss. We caught up with Christine to learn more about the show, her experience at Lake Joe and what inspires her both in and out of the kitchen.
Join us on Wednesday, February 15 from 7 to 8 p.m. ET for an open discussion with Christine about her experience at CNIB’s Lake Joe, accessibility in and beyond the kitchen and – of course – food! Use #FourSensesAMA to join in the chat and be sure to follow @theblindcook, @CNIB and @AccessibleMedia to keep up with all the action.
