Become a Volunteer
Are you passionate about your community? Seeking a new experience? Willing to share your time and talents? Join other dedicated CNIB volunteers across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Through the engagement of passionate volunteers like you, CNIB is able to ensure blind or partially sighted individuals have the confidence, skills and opportunities to fully participate in life in their communities.
Volunteers fulfill a wide variety of roles in many areas including:
- Fund Development
- Client Services
- Public Awareness
When thinking about the type of volunteer work you would like to do, consider the following:
- How much time do I have to give?
- What do I want to gain from this experience?
- What skills or traits do I have to share?
Working with you, we strive to find the best opportunity that will meet your requests, fit your schedule and experience and fulfill the needs of CNIB.
All CNIB volunteers are screened and may be required to complete a criminal record check. Orientation and training suitable to your chosen position will be provided.
Visit the Volunteer Opportunities page to find positions in your area. Also check out the Frequently Asked Questions Page for more information. Already done all this? Fill out our online application form or request a print version.
