Leisure & Orientation Groups
CNIB leisure group programs address the unique needs of people living with vision loss. The programs provide an opportunity for members to receive support as they adjust to their vision loss, to relearn skills, develop new ones, and regain self-confidence.
Run by people with vision loss, these leisure groups encourage social interaction and friendship for individuals who feel isolated and alone. Most run from September through May. For more information, contact Kathy Ilg (Winnipeg office).
The following groups are actively recruiting new members. Please join us!

Choir: Anyone who enjoys singing or playing an instrument is invited to join the choir. The choir meets on Thursday from 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the CNIB Centre and is actively preparing for programs held at CNIB and other centres. Come and join the fun.
Pottery: This class meets for a 10-week fall and winter session at the Lions Pool in Fort Garry. For a nominal fee you will be instructed in hand-building, glazing, and firing clay. Come and be amazed at the beautiful objects you can create.
