Children’s Clinic

Saskatoon:

The CNIB Children’s Clinic offers an opportunity for families and children to become familiar with the programs and services available at CNIB. Participation in the clinic will help families to learn about vision loss and understand how it can affect a child at home, in school, and in other environments.

A day at the Children’s Clinic will provide: A Low/Functional Vision Assessment, an introduction to assistive technology and consumer products, an introduction to orientation and mobility instruction, specific information about eye conditions, education about available resources and materials and an opportunity to make connections with other families and community supports.

For more information, contact Melanie Christopherson at the Saskatoon office by phone at 306-374-4545 or email saskatchewan@cnib.ca.
