Will I receive a tax receipt for my gift?

Since your RRSP or RRIF gift will not be received by CNIB until your passing, you won’t receive a tax receipt in life. But when we receive your gift, your estate will receive a tax receipt for the value of the funds given to CNIB, which will help to offset tax owing on the funds by your estate.
