Do I have to tell you that I’ve made a gift in my will to CNIB?

Absolutely not. Making a will is a private matter and we don’t require you to tell us if you’ve left a gift in your will to CNIB. If you would like to let us know, however, we’d be happy to talk to you, thank you for your wonderful generosity and answer any questions you may have about where your gift will go.

What happens if I want to add to, change or nullify my gift?

Your will is entirely yours to do with as you please. Just because you’ve made a gift to CNIB doesn’t mean you can’t change your mind at a later date. You can alter your will through your lawyer at any time.

I'm not a wealthy person. Would anything I leave be helpful?

Absolutely. Making a gift in your will allows you to choose to leave a small percentage of your assets rather than a specific amount, so even if you’re not particularly wealthy, you can make an enormous impact in our work. Plus, your gift won’t be affected by inflation.
