Alliance for an Inclusive and Accessible Canada

CNIB has joined with 16 other not-for-profit organizations to form The Alliance for an Inclusive and Accessible Canada (The Alliance). Our purpose is to listen to Canadians with disabilities in order to learn more about their barriers and solutions. Together, we will present recommendations for solutions directly to Minister Qualtrough.

We want to bring people of all abilities together to gather their thoughts and opinions on how the Government of Canada can improve accessibility and inclusion across our Canada. To do so, The Alliance will be hosting in-person and over-the-phone consultations, as well as an online survey so people can have their say.

Consultations will take place across the country, including a sight loss-specific, over-the-phone consultation will be taking place in late Februrary 2017.
