Guide Dog Mobility Instructor

CNIB is seeking a qualified GDMI to join our newly established Guide Dog training team in providing a thorough and best in class program that will enable Canadians who are blind or partially sighted to enhance their independence and mobility. 

The GDMI will play a critical role with our participants from the initial stages of entrance into the program to the successful pairing with a Guide Dog to achieve the participant’s goal to live independently in partnership with a guide dog.

The Specialist, Braille Room Operations will report to the Central Lead, Volunteer Strategies and Events and is responsible for supporting the development of a strategic approach and framework for CNIB's braille room, the oversight of CNIB's efforts in braille literacy, specifically, CNIB's Volunteer braille production and braille promotion in general.

Manager, Planned Giving

This is a management level position, directly responsible for the engagement, cultivation and solicitation of donors designated as Planned Giving prospects.

The incumbent will also be part of the CNIB Planned Giving Team and will work with internal and external constituents to promote Planned Giving as outlined in the CNIB Planned Giving Program Plan.

This position ensures that established cultivation and solicitation targets are met. The position focuses on the Planned Giving across Canada.

The incumbent possesses knowledge of Planned Giving vehicles and their tax implications. They are fully aware of the cultivation process and have experience in making direct donor solicitations around Planned Giving.
