CNIB Pup Crawl raises $125,000!

On behalf of the CNIB Guide Dogs team, we can’t thank you enough for supporting the fourth annual CNIB Pup Crawl! Whether you participated by running on your treadmill, walking around your neighbourhood with your furry friend, dancing in a park or donating to a pup crawl team, your encouragement and support helped make our annual five-kilometre fundraising event a tremendous success.

We crossed the finish line! This year, 184 people participated in the pup crawl, and 873 people pledged their support, raising more than $125,000 to cover the costs of raising, training and matching CNIB Guide Dogs with Canadians across the country. And thanks to our dedicated and generous friends Mary and John Crocker, every dollar donated to the pup crawl (up to $50,000!) has been matched!

Team Average Joe’s, led by CNIB Guide Dog handler Ryan Hooey of Windsor, ON, was the top fundraising team, raising $10,123.

Congratulations to all who participated and donated, and thank you for your support!
