CNIB is active in every region of Canada, with staff and volunteers working in offices in British Columbia and the Yukon and often traveling to provide support to people in their homes and in rural communities.

At a recent Celebration of Giving event, Rob Serraglio, Senior Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal, and Jennifer Muench, Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal, Vancouver Centre
presented Sylvia Zylla, Manager, Major Gifts (Centre) with a contribution from BMO employees totalling $1,704.05.
- Peer Counselling – A friendly voice and understanding ear is just a phone call away! CNIB’s peer counselling program is a volunteer service available in some communities that encourages people newly experiencing vision loss to connect via telephone to peers in their community who are also living with vision loss. These peer counsellors are trained to be empathetic listeners and to help clients adjust to their new circumstances. Contact your local CNIB office to find out if this program is available in your community.
