Programs and Activities
CNIB is active in every region of Canada, with staff and volunteers working in offices in Alberta and Northwest Territories, and often traveling to provide support to people in their homes and in rural communities.

- Elections update 2011:
PC candidate commits to helping Albertans with vision loss cast their votes
- Specialized Technical Equipment Program (STEP)
For Albertans in need of a helpful product or technical device for use at home. Deadlines for application to the STEP program are May 31, September 30 and January 15
- The Red Deer "Visionaries" Support Group
Ages 30 - 65
This group provides support and fellowship for people who are blind or partially sighted. Our activities include group peer support, one on one support, guest speakers and group discussion.
Day: Meet the first Saturday of each month
Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Place: CNIB office - #4, 5015 48 Street, Red Deer, AB.
