Located in the heart of Muskoka, two hours north of Toronto, Canada, CNIB Lake Joseph Centre is a world leader in providing people with vision loss with life-changing experiences. Lake Joe’s innovative programming and partnerships excite and inspire children, youth, families and adults with vision loss as they meet new friends, experience exciting new adventures and leave with memories that will last a lifetime.
Exciting Summer Camps
Welcome to Lake Joe! Whether you are a past camper or someone new we want to welcome you to Lake Joe for our upcoming 2010 summer camp season.
Located at the north end of Lake Joseph in Muskoka, Lake Joe is a fully accessible recreational facility that offers unique specialized camping experiences for people of all ages who are living with vision loss.
Lake Joe is more than a summer camp. It is a place where people with vision loss can develop new skills, make friends, learn new activities, and be themselves in a safe, friendly environment. We offer a unique mix of recreation and rehabilitation programs for teens, adults, children and families. At Lake Joe there is something fun and exciting for everyone. From canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, swimming and sailing, to exploring nature, arts and crafts, interesting off-sites, and sharing warm memories during campfire sing-a-longs, there is something new, exciting and challenging waiting for you every day. Programs run from July until September.
