Knights of Lake Joe
Lions have always been a great supporter of CNIB and Lake Joe and for this reason we have re-launched the revitalized Knights of Lake Joe program on September 27, 2008.
Now each Lion will be recognized on our virtual Wall of Fame for all of their funds raised for Lake Joe. Also, each year a Lion raises money for the camp, they will receive a newly designed Lake Joe pin every year.
Here’s how it works:
- A wish list of items needed at Lake Joe has been compiled by Jacqueline Harrison, Camp Manager. All items are listed and will include a dollar amount.
- Every Lion that donates a minimum donation of $100 will receive an award, like in years past. The award consists of a Knights of Lake Joe certificate and a newly designed Lions/Lake Joe pin for that year, and recognition on the virtual Wall of Fame. Lions will be presented the award during the Annual Lions Appreciation Day held at Lake Joe each September, if the Lion is unable to attend, their award along with pin will be mailed to Lions’ club.
- All donations will be used to purchase items from our wish list.
- To make a donation, please send a cheque made payable to CNIB Lake Joseph Centre (Please add "Knights of Lake Joe" to the notes section) attention the MD 'A' Treasurer.
