About Our Facilities
The CNIB Centre is conveniently located in a midtown
ravine setting, only 20 minutes from the downtown core, and
accommodates a wide variety of functions, from the most intimate
meetings and social gatherings to conferences, product launches and
receptions on a grand scale.
Your guests will be captivated by the innovation
apparent throughout the CNIB Centre. Diffused and natural lighting,
talking elevators and signs, varying floor textures and contrasting
colours to enhance visibility all contribute to a unique building
where people of all abilities are welcome.
The space is as beautiful as it is functional, characterized by
elegant Japanese-style screens, panoramic window views and clean,
modern lines. Outdoor settings include the Fragrant Garden, breezy
patios and our beautifully-manicured grounds.
Ballroom:
The Conference Ballroom is 6,300 square feet of meeting space that
can be divided into three sections. It is the ultimate gathering
space for your unforgettable social occasion, whether it is a
corporate party, wedding, birthday or other event. The Ballroom
offers stunning ravine views and a breezy adjoining patio.
Audiovisual equipment in this venue includes an automatic screen,
built-in LCD projector and CD/tape player.
Meeting Rooms:
Our meeting rooms measure between 360 and 875 square feet, while our
stylish Boardrooms seat between four and 30 people.
Fragrant Garden:
More intimate events can be held in our outdoor Fragrant Garden,
which also provides a superb backdrop for photos. The Fragrant
Garden is a striking, one-of-a-kind focal point, where trees,
flowers and foliage have been carefully selected for their scent,
texture or sound in blowing wind.
Cafe:
Our Cafe offers an impressive location for receptions, seminars or
trade shows. The large windows with adjoining patio make the area
very bright and welcoming for your guests or delegates.
