What months of the year may I rent the Lake Joseph Facilities?
While Lake Joe is dedicated to providing camp programming to people who are blind or partially sighted between Canada Day and Labour Day each year, our facilities are available for rent at any time outside of that period. Spaces each spring and fall fill up quickly, so
contact us today to book.
All of Lake Joe’s facilities are available to the general public. Facilities include:

- Overnight Accommodations

- Sandy beaches
- Fishing Dock
- Gazebo
Most programs and activities are available, subject to weather conditions. Activities options include:
- Pontoon Boat Cruises
- Basketball
- Shuffle Board
- Paddle boats
- Canoeing
- Kayaking
- Arts and Crafts
- And much more
Yes, there are overnight accommodations available to all of our guests. We have six buildings with eight rooms per building. Each room has a two single beds and a washroom. All buildings are connected by a covered boardwalk. The overnight capacity is 96 guests. Linens are provided in all of our rooms.
The cost of renting the facilities varies. Lake Joe offers a number of programs and services and the costs is dependent on each guests’ selection of these programs and services. For more information on costs please contact us directly.
Lake Joe is equipped with meeting rooms and break out spaces throughout our Dinning Hall, Recreation Hall and Welcome Centre. A/V equipment is available for presentations.
Lake Joe has a wonderful catering company on site to provide options for all meals and snacks, at very reasonable rates. Contact us with your preferences, and we'll discuss meal options with you.
Lake Joe is not a licenced facility, but alcohol is permitted in the cabins as well as on the porch of those cabins. Licensing can be acquired for events or banquets.
