Testimonials

Dear Pamela,

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to you and the entire team at CNIB for providing us with the perfect venue, food and service for our recent event, The Canada China Environmental Forum.

Your facilities are not only state of the art, but beautiful and versatile!

Your staff are extremely competent and friendly. We had so many compliments on how smoothly the day went – and we owe it all to you. What a stress free process from start to finish!

With very many thanks,

Hi Pam :

I just want to thank you once again for all of your hard work to make our event a wonderful success. You were so helpful you even assisted in a part of the fundraising that we hadn’t even thought through yet!

Making sure that all our needs were met was a given for us; you made sure that our needs were exceeded, from posting signs outside for the parking, to moving furniture, to helping us cart items around; your ideas and creativity in how to best use the space was greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for all of your assistance. We would absolutely use the space again.

All the best,

Laurie Siegel

We recently co-hosted our daughter’s B’nai Mitzvah at the CNIB. Working with Pam and her staff was a pleasure. The location is convenient and met all of our needs; parking was ample. They were able to tailor the menu to our needs and everything came in on budget.

As my daughter said "this was the best party…ever!"

I have no hesitation in recommending the CNIB as a locale for a simcha.

Our Shule parent group liked the idea of using the CNIB for our B'nai Mitzvah for a number of reasons, not the least of which was that we were very pleased to support a worthy charity.

When I first saw the venue I was very impressed with the architecture, the state-of-the-art presentation equipment, and the ability of the venue to "morph" quickly from being an auditorium, to being a lovely luncheon room with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ravine and then later that night turning into a marvelous party place.

Our professional photos were taken in the "Fragrant Garden", the perfect backdrop for groups of 2 or 20 to pose for pictures. After looking at a number of catering options, we used the CNIB's onsite caterer. Chef Paul provided a wonderful spread for our dairy lunch.

Above all I knew, at all times, that I was in very good hands whilst working with Pamela Deveaux, who handles the group events at the CNIB. Pam had a wonderful way of letting me know that the CNIB was working with us to make our event the best it could be. She worked tirelessly on every aspect of our event; it would not have been the success it was without her!

I would not hesitate to use the CNIB for another event, and I hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.

Kind regards,
Martha Hale

The CNIB Centre facility is state of the art and the overall service was excellent. The staff from the in-house caterer Compass Canada was attentive and the food was good. We will certainly use the centre for future meetings and would not hesitate to recommend the facility to others.

On behalf of Gluckstein & Associates LLP and the committee members of the Compassion Fatigue Seminar, I would like to express our thank you and appreciation for providing a great facility to hold our seminar in June of this year.

From initial contact with Pamela Deveaux of CNIB, and into the details, we found the approach and cooperation most friendly, helpful and professional. As well the facilities are world class in providing a great location and venue for our seminar. We will of course be holding further seminars at the location and would without hesitation highly recommend the CNIB Conference Centre.

Thank you Pam! It was a pleasure working with you as well. You were so ready to help us and provide us with all of the services that we requested. We really appreciate you going out of your way to make this meeting go smoothly. Your quick response and action was much appreciated.

We always survey our attendees following a meeting and the overall response on the CNIB center was really good. They liked the facility and they liked the idea that by using the facility, the society was benefiting.

Thank you again and it was really a pleasure doing business with you. Hopefully I will be back again to use your facility for meetings in the future.

A big thank you to CNIB & Daniel et Daniel for making this event so very successful for IWS/Family Services. They were most pleased, and Pam, they received wonderful comments about the new CNIB venue. Laura, the food was very good and enjoyed by all. Your serving team was most pleasant and professional, and Pam, thanks for being there so early to open the doors and be our meet and greet person...it makes all so much easier when things just flow the way they do. Your AV person was very helpful, pleasant and professional.

Everyone was pleased, I know they will definitely utilize the facility again. It was quite interesting, Mr. Keith Harding - President, his wife was a key person at the CNIB for years, so it brought back many memories for him, and just couldn't believe the change.

For the type of event this was for IWS/Family Services, this venue was most conducive. Having the meeting room with all its high-tech amenities is certainly great value for the dollar invested, especially when it was a new product launch, site lines were perfect.

Thank you again to you both, team work is what it is all about...and I will certainly call the CNIB and Daniel et Daniel again...have a great day and we will talk again soon.

With warm regards

Gaby Schick – Hospitality Connections

Thank you both for everything.
The participants really loved the venue, even though some felt it was a fair distance.

The group also enjoyed the food provided and we all hope to be able to use your facilities in the near future.

I am also thankful for your flexibility and cooperation over the three days.
I hope we will have other opportunities to work together.
