Frontier Computing Summer Work Placement

Overview:

Frontier Computing, a total solution sales and support company for people with vision loss, is sponsoring a summer work placement for a Walter and Wayne Gretzky scholarship recipient, following at least one year of University.

Walter, Wayne, and the Gretzky family continue a tradition of assisting Canadian youth living with vision loss to pursue their academic and lifelong dreams.

Amount of Award:

Frontier Computing is offering a summer work placement for a Toronto-based student completing his/her first year of university.

Eligibility:

A strong interest in technology is beneficial but not essential for consideration of this summer work placement.

Candidates must be:

• Blind or living with vision loss;
• First year university completed
• A Canadian citizen or have held landed immigrant status for one year prior to the date of application.

All awards are on the basis of academic excellence and service to the community.

Deadlines:

Please send a covering letter outlining how the Walter and Wayne Scholarship went and your year one experience at the university along with a recent resume, to the address below by March 31.
