We help to support young people as they work towards achieving their dreams and goals:
Euclid Herie Assistive Technology Scholarship (Residents of Alberta or NWT only)
This award is available to students with vision loss in grades 10, 11 or 12 in a school in Alberta or NWT. The student must have demonstrated academic achievement, judgment and leadership and the scholarship must be used to purchase assistive technology.
Scholarship for BC Students with Visual Impairments
This annual scholarship is available to graduating students with vision loss who best exemplify leadership activities and community service.
Walter and Wayne Gretzky Scholarship Foundation
This permanent foundation presents several scholarships and bursaries each year to eligible blind and visually impaired students planning to study at the post-secondary level.
F.J.L. Woodcock/Sir Arthur Pearson Association of War Blinded Scholarship Program
This scholarship program helps to fund outstanding students with low vision who are continuing either their vocational or academic education at the post-secondary level.
The Edie Mourre Transcriber’s Scholarship
The Canadian Braille Authority has established a scholarship in memory of Edie Mourre. Edie was a dedicated braille transcriber and strong advocate for access to braille.
Scholarship Award of the Aliant Pioneer Volunteers

A $2,000 scholarship award for students living with vision loss in Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island to assist with tuition costs while attending a post-secondary institution.
The Barney Danson Bursary
The Barney Danson Bursary is awarded to Canadian students with vision loss for the purpose of attending a Canadian post-secondary institution.
